IRON MAN #31 (1970)
There is some sort of shiny residue that encompasses the entire spine on both sides. Possibly dried glue. The residue is not sticky and doesn't appear to have fixed any defects on the book, but it has discolored and hardened over time, becoming the defect itself.
Besides the above noted there is no major defects of note besides some minor handling wear including a couple of small chips along the bottom edge of the front cover and a minor 2" fold on the bottom right hand corner of front cover.
If not for residue on the spine book would probably grade into the VF grades
